Of course we all remember clueless and all the crazy, far fetched fashion icons of our pre-teen years. One of my favorite movies in middle school, however, was The Craft.
I was all about the dark lipstick, baggier jeans and anything that resembled a catholic school girl… As things go in the fashion world- those same styles are coming back full circle. I know that the school girl fetish never quite wanes, but it’s been SO fun to finally wear velvet and chokers and over the knee socks as an adult!
Here I’m wearing a beautiful, long skirt from Urban Outfitters with a BCBGmaxazria vest for the full length black silhouette. I played with a contrasting alternative to a white button up, with this fuzzy H&M sweater, then played it up with girly socks hidden beneath.
My Broke Girl Style choker layered with my Junghwa open-heart necklace was THE final touch. What screams 90’s more than a blood red, velvet choker?
