This weekend was INSANE! And when I say that, I probably slightly mislead my readers, because I am sort of an introvert, conservative girl at heart. So when I say insane- I mean it was insane for Me! I had no idea what to expect heading to Coachella Valley for the Festival Circuit. I was kind of flying by the seat of my pants, with my main goal being- take as many pictures as humanly possible. I am a blogger after all…
Luckily I have the most chill and creative friends on the planet so somehow, despite my unending selfie-expedition through the desert, we managed to make a super fun road-trip out of it! Thanks to Shoes.com I found myself perfectly accessorized the entire weekend- including hiking at our first stop- Joshua Tree Park…
The backdrop here reminds me of Tom and Jerry- a Loony Toones show from the 90’s. There is something almost cartoonish about the bubbly formations of rock and stone. It’s incredibly breathtaking and inspiring of course, so we tried to capture some of the formations and vast backdrops. Honestly, I just wanted to lay on a rock and melt into the stunning, parched earth. It’s magical.
For this first adventure, I paired a pair Five Worlds Platform sandals with a Minie Rose NYC vest from Eg Page Boutique. (sold out, but similar one from Sole Society HERE.) I can’t say enough about Shoes.com and their endless selection of shoes from comfortable weekend options to Festival ready sandals and I can’t forget sexy heels (which you can see more of HERE). They ship so quick and easy that I actually had these and a couple other pair shipped straight to my hotel in Palm Springs!
Here’s me and my girl, Kate Michels just soaking up the sun. She is probably the closest thing to Sunshine manifested in a human being.

The park is pretty vast, so we hung out here for nearly 4 hours on day two. When you pay for parking, they give you a 7 day pass, which after driving through a minute you quickly realize is more than necessary.
Since I wanted to be able to walk through some of the rockier formations, I changed into something more walkable. I threw on these sexy little western-buckle sandals by Matisse with some of my go-to Free People pieces like this bodysuit and necklace. I can’t believe Shoes.com sells these guys for under $200! These shoes are exquisite quality and the detail is stunning, making these THE statement shoe to invest in for Festival Season! The two inch heel makes them SO practical too.
Here we are checking out the view- Mia Allen KILLED it taking most of my photos this trip. You have to check her out for any modeling and acting needs too!

I have more pics coming of this outfit, but I HAD to share with my readers that Shoes.com now offers accessories, including handbags! Check out this sexy Sam Edelman wristlet I picked out for a fun fringe accent to my boho mermaid look. I love how the fringe wraps around my wrist as well.
Now THESE shoes were perhaps my most well-thought out selects, haha. These Chuck Taylor platforms have a peached canvas which makes them super desert-friendly and the deep burgundy color goes with EVERYTHING in my bags. I wore these a couple days at the Festivals, events and even poolside.
If I could go back and do one thing differently… I wouldn’t change a thing. This first weekend of Coachella, discovering the Festival culture for the first time, attending some blogging events with my makeup dripping off and dancing poolside in broad daylight… well, it was exactly what it should have been. Thank you Shoes.com for sponsoring such a memorable weekend!
